WAFA Relief is a British registered charity (No.
1101992) based in Manchester. It was established in 2003 to work in a
variety of charitable causes worldwide. The primary focus of the
organisation's charitable work is to help relieve the suffering
of the destitute communities in Africa.
With the intention to assist the ongoing projects
and examine the possibility of establishing new ones, the general
manager of WAFA Relief has visited Morocco in the period 1-11 July
2005.
WAFA Relief has participated in the activities of
Make Poverty History by joining the fair that was held in St. Margaret's
Church, in Manchester on Saturday, 18th March 2005.
A group of five college students felt the need for
helping African children decided to make a sponosored walk for one day
and collected more than £400.
Today, the gap between the world's rich and poor is
wider than ever. Global injustices such as poverty, AIDS, malnutrition,
conflict and illiteracy remain rife
